What are the boats and capacity?

You can find specific boat capacities under each route page.

How early should I arrive for boarding the boat?

→ Canggu, Uluwatu and Jimbaran: 15 minutes before departure.

→ Sanur, Serangan, Padangbai, Lembongan, Nusa Penida, Gili Islands and Lombok: 60 minutes before departure.

Are life jackets provided on the boats?

Yes, life jackets are provided on all of our boats and are mandatory to wear during the trip.

Can I bring my own beverages on the boat?

Yes, it is permitted to bring your own beverages, however, for safety reasons, glass containers are not permitted on board.

Are there any safety precautions that I should be aware of before boarding the boat?

The crew will provide safety instructions before departure, please listen and follow their instructions carefully.

Are there any age restrictions for traveling on your boats?

Children of all ages are welcome on our boats, however, children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.

Can I bring my surfboard on the boat?

Yes, you're welcome to bring your surfboard on the trip, provided there is a valid ticket for the surfboard. Please note that is not responsible for any damage to your belongings, including your surfboard.

Can I bring my pet onboard?

Yes, you are allowed to bring one small pet onboard. Please be aware that GoBoat does not assume any responsibility for your pet's safety or well-being while on the boat. As the pet owner, you are responsible for your pet and ensuring the safety of other passengers while on the boat. We kindly ask that you take all necessary precautions to ensure your pet's safety and comfort during the trip, as well as respecting the comfort of other passengers.

Are there any weight or size restrictions for luggage on the boats?

→ Canggu, Uluwatu and Jimbaran: Each passenger is allowed one handbag or backpack. Suitcases of any size are not permitted.

→ Sanur, Lembongan, Gili Islands and Lombok: Max 2 bags allowed not exceeding total weight of 40kg.

What should I wear on the boat?

We recommend wearing comfortable and appropriate clothing for the weather and sea conditions and disembarking in water depending on the tide. We also recommend bringing sunscreen and a hat.

Do I need to protect my valuables?

Safeguard your valuables with a waterproof case as the boat is exposed, and water may reach your belongings.

Do I have to pay entrance fee at Padang Padang Beach?

Yes, at the moment you will have to pay the entrance fee if you are coming from Uluwatu. The entrance fee for foreign adults is Rp 15,000.

What transportation options are available for getting around after arriving in Uluwatu?

You can choose from a variety of options, rent a motorcycle, such as local taxis or popular ride-hailing apps, to explore Uluwatu and its surrounding areas.

Are there any discounts available for children, groups or repeat customers?

We are only selling single, one way tickets (non-refundable). The prices are for each person, adults and children.

Can I bring my bike onboard?

No, we do not allow bikes onboard the boat

What payment methods can I use?

You can use major credit cards, E-wallets (GoPay, Ovo & QRIS), and bank transfer.

How do I purchase tickets for the boat trip?

You can only purchase tickets on this website.

How will I receive my tickets?

After making payment, you will immediately receive a separate email containing your tickets in PDF and Apple Wallet format. The email will be sent to the email address provided during the booking process. You can also check the order page for tickets. You can use the PDF version or simply show the tickets from your Apple Wallet on your mobile device when boarding the boat.

Are tickets refundable?

All tickets are non-refundable, please ensure that you have selected the correct date and destination before purchasing your ticket.

Can I change my travel date or destination after purchasing a ticket?

Yes, you can change the time of your Flexible ticket, but this is allowed only once. The change must be requested up to 1 hour before the scheduled departure. Please note that this is subject to availability and must be confirmed via online Chat.

Please note that we do not offer changes to destinations/directions.

We do not offer changes to Standard tickets.

What happens if the trip is canceled due to serious weather conditions? will make every effort to operate all trips as scheduled, but we reserve the right to cancel or delay trips due to adverse weather conditions or other circumstances beyond our control. Customers will be notified as soon as possible if a trip is cancelled or delayed, a voucher will be issued and sent by email to the ticket purchaser that is valid for 12 months from the original ticket trip departure date.
