HSE Manager (Safety Manager)

GoBoat.id is seeking a proactive Site & HSE Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations of Jukung and ensure the highest standards of safety for our passengers and crew. The ideal candidate will conduct regular on-site visits to locations such as Canggu and Uluwatu, identify areas for improvement, and enhance operational efficiency and safety level.

Responsibilities:

1. Operational Oversight:

• Conduct regular on-site visits to Canggu, Uluwatu, and other strategic locations to oversee operations firsthand.
• Identify areas for improvement to enhance efficiency and service quality.

2. Scheduling and Planning:

• Review the daily schedule and confirm the status of all scheduled trips.
• Check the weather forecast and adjust the schedule as necessary to ensure the safety of passengers and crew.
• In charge of cancellations of trips

3. Safety and Fleet Management:

• Ensure that petrol and all safety equipment are in good condition and readily accessible.
• Review the check-up forms filled out by the crew to ensure that the boat is in good condition and ready for operation.
• Ensure the safety of the boat during non-operational hours.

4. Inventory Management:

• Review the inventory of supplies and equipment.
• Maintain adequate stock levels and fill out the Inventory Request for any necessary items.

5. Safety Protocols and Training:

• Prioritize the safety of customers and the team by implementing robust safety protocols.
• Provide necessary safety training to the crew and staff.
• Continuously seek ways to enhance the safety of boat operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices to mitigate risks.

6. Maintenance:

• During maintenance periods, help manage the team and ensure that all repairs and maintenance tasks are properly executed and everything is fixed.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in safety supervision, preferably in maritime or tourism industries.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulation.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Ability to conduct thorough inspections and identify potential safety hazards.
• Effective communication skills and ability to train and lead a team.
• Proficiency in inventory management.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Good and positive team spirit
