Operational Manager

GoBoat is hiring a highly motivated and skilled Operational Manager to oversee daily operations at Nelayan Beach, Canggu and Padang Padang Beach, Uluwatu. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Team Lead in charge of daily schedules of the team, go-to person for the team.
  • New recruit Lead (helping new team members with their onboarding).
  • Scheduling and Planning: ensure that all necessary personnel are scheduled for each trip.
  • Safety and Fleet Management: Review the check-ups for the fleet and ensure that all boats are in good condition and ready for operation.
  • Ensuring the safety of the boat during non-operational hours.
  • Inventory Management: Review the inventory of supplies and equipment, fill in the Inventory Request for any necessary items. 
  • Trip Management: Provide Fuel and safety equipment to the crew, review the customer list.
  • Customer Service: Help Captain to offload the passenger luggage, check with Captain if any lost items on the boat. Inform customers how to book online.
  • Promotional activities: Place promotional posters and advertisements on strategic locations, talk with land owners or business managers for placements of advertising if necessary.
  • Help bring awareness to GoBoat, and be a happy face to the customers.
Qualifications:
  • Good English (speak freely)
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer service or hospitality role
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of Uluwatu/Canggu and the surrounding areas is a plus

The candidate is expected to provide their own transportation and arrange for their own accommodation.
